All State Teams Selected: On November 18, 2007 the Region Representatives from across the state in all four classes
met in Battle Creek the day after the finals to review nomination forms and game film for All State honors. This is a time-consuming and ardous
process as each candidate is formally nominated for a team, promoted by their Region Rep. followed by an evaluation of their
game film. The all state process is initiated by the high school coach, and it is their responsibility to provide
accurate data [stats] and clear game film that highlights the player's skills. The Region Reps. then vote for those
players they believe deserve recognition. First Team players are selected, followed by 2nd, 3rd & Honorable Mention teams.
As always, there are a vast number of candidates, but only 48 spots in any one Class.
Angie would like to thank all of the Region Reps for their efforts this past weekend. For their willingness to volunteer their time and their desire to
methodically select the most deserving players for the Fall 2007 season. MIVCA in turn appeciates Angie for being willing to coordinate
this task, and say a big THANK YOU for a job well done!
